The Role

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Intern to join our team and learn the fundamentals of full-stack development with a focus on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You will work under close supervision, supporting our senior developers and contributing to projects while building a strong foundation in cloud-native application development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of applications by assisting with front-end and back-end tasks.

  • Work with senior team members to learn and implement basic features using Firebase services like Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions.

  • Assist in writing clean, well-documented code under supervision.

  • Help with bug fixes and testing to ensure application functionality.

  • Contribute to team meetings and provide ideas for simple improvements.

  • Perform basic administrative tasks to support the development team's workflow.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of programming concepts, with some exposure to JavaScript or TypeScript.

  • Familiarity with web development frameworks is a plus.

  • A strong desire to learn and grow in a professional software development environment.

  • Basic collaboration skills in shared digital environments (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • Arabic: Professional proficiency (both written and spoken)
